An experienced performer and qualified Speech and Drama teacher, Brigid prepares and delivers training courses for a variety of household name organisations. She brings to her work a passion for the spoken word. She conveys her message with charm and charisma and an empathy and style individual to each case. Drama Brigid gives Talks, Recitals and Poetry Readings as "breathers" to lighten the mood at receptions and social events, conferences, meetings and lunch-time breaks. Women in Irish History is new to her repertoire and particularly well received. Recent performances have been with the London Irish Theatre on Famine Day; Bloomsday, the annual celebration of Joyce's masterpiece Ulysses, and events at The Irish Club, London. The Plinth spot never happened! Storytelling Storytelling sessions can be arranged for schools and adult events. Brigid has a vast collection of old Irish Fairy stories and Ghost stories for young and old. An Evening with Peig Sayers Let youself be transported back in time to a simple island homestead on the Blasket Islands, Europe's most westerly islands. Join Peig, renowned seanchai by the turf fire and enjoy an evening of storytelling, song and poetry in traditional Gaelic style. |
